Often find yourself dreaming of rolling greens hills, a blanket of blue sky and endless juicy grapes? So do we- Now you can capture it in a glass with Dehouche’s special recipe for mulled wines.  There is nothing like a glass of top class mulled wine to kick off the festive spirit, but for a twist on tradition, Dehouche recommends a special spiced mulled wine made with one of our favourite Chilean red wines. Mix all the ingredients below in a saucepan with 1 ½ litres of water and stir until all the sugar has dissolved simmer for 20minutes.

2 bottles of red wine (see above)

1 orange with cloves

2 sliced oranges

2 sliced lemons

2 tablespoons of sugar

Cinnamon stick

2 tablespoons of cointreau

2 tablespoons of ground ginger

A touch of Cayenne Pepper.
